Using MazesOnline

MazesOnline is operated by Liberateweb Ltd, company number 16127879. Our address is 3rd Floor, 86-90 Paul Street, EC2A 4NE, London, United Kingdom.

These terms are between you and Liberateweb Ltd. In these terms, “we”, “us”, and “our” refer to Liberateweb Ltd. You can write to us at the address above with questions or complaints about the service.

These terms cover your use of the MazesOnline website and game. They apply to guest play and accounts.

MazesOnline is currently in Open Beta. We are still developing and testing the service, so features may change and you may encounter bugs or interruptions.

You may use the game for personal recreation. Daily play and standard practice do not require a paid membership.

If you are not old enough to enter a binding agreement where you live, a parent or guardian must authorize any account or purchase where the law requires it. A purchase must be made by someone legally able to buy it and authorized to use the payment method.

Our Privacy Notice explains data handling. It is information about our practices, not a request for blanket consent to process your data.

The site’s branding, text, software, and artwork remain subject to applicable intellectual-property rights and any specific licenses supplied with them. Permission to play is not a general license to redistribute the service or its assets. This does not restrict uses permitted by law or by an applicable open-source license.

Accounts and saved progress

Player progress may not be fully preserved during Open Beta or when we move to a full release. Updates, fixes, or data resets may cause some or all saved progress, maze history, streaks, scores, or bookmarks to be lost. This applies to both guest players and registered accounts. We cannot promise to restore progress affected by these changes.

Use an email address you control and keep your password private. Do not use another person’s account without permission. Signing out is particularly important on a shared device.

Guest progress is connected to a browser identifier. Clearing cookies or site data can make it inaccessible. An account allows progress to follow you across devices, but pending local moves still need to reach the server. The game cannot guarantee recovery of unsaved moves, lost browser identifiers, or data removed at your request.

The daily challenge has one official attempt per player and a midnight UTC deadline. A result counts only if the server accepts it before the reset. Replays and revealed solutions do not replace the official attempt. The How to Play guide explains these rules in detail.

Keep the paths open for everyone.

Do not use the service to break the law, interfere with other players, or compromise the site. In particular, do not:

  • attempt to access another person’s private progress, account, or billing information;
  • bypass access controls, payment checks, or request limits;
  • submit fabricated gameplay records or manipulate shared comparisons;
  • send harmful code or automated traffic that disrupts the service; or
  • use the name or branding to imply an endorsement or affiliation that does not exist.

Access may be restricted when reasonably necessary to address abuse, security threats, unlawful use, or a material breach of these terms. Any action should be proportionate to the issue. A restriction does not remove statutory consumer rights or justify keeping payment where a refund is legally required.

Maze Plus and billing

Maze Plus is coming soon. Premium features and new payments are disabled during Open Beta. Plus previews do not represent features currently available to purchase. The billing and cancellation terms below apply only to any existing purchases or purchases made when membership becomes available.

Maze Plus is optional. Available features and the advertised offer appear on the Maze Plus page. Check the price, currency, tax treatment, billing interval, and renewal details shown at checkout before authorizing payment. A concept illustration or future-feature preview is not an included feature unless the purchase offer expressly says otherwise.

Polar acts as merchant of record and authorized reseller for purchases through its checkout. It handles the payment transaction, receipts, and applicable transaction taxes. Purchases through Polar’s checkout are also subject to the Polar Checkout Buyer Terms presented for that transaction; these site terms describe use of the game.

Membership access begins when payment is confirmed to the game. A return from checkout alone is not confirmation, and processing can take a little time. If a payment has succeeded but access has not appeared, retain your receipt so the purchase can be traced.

A recurring membership renews on the schedule you accept at checkout unless canceled. Turning off renewal normally leaves access available until the end of the confirmed paid period. Refunds, reversals, fraud, or other lawful revocations may affect access. A failed renewal does not extend access beyond an already confirmed paid period.

Cancellation, refunds, and account deletion

Use the billing management button on the Maze Plus or account page (Manage previous billing) to open Polar’s customer portal and cancel renewal. If you cannot reach it, follow the support information on your receipt or use Polar’s buyer support. Keep the cancellation confirmation.

Canceling a renewal and requesting a refund are different actions. Refund and withdrawal requests are handled under applicable law and the terms of the purchase. No wording here makes a purchase universally “non-refundable” or removes a cooling-off, cancellation, repair, replacement, or price-reduction right that the law gives you.

Where immediate supply of digital content or a service affects a statutory withdrawal right, any legally required request, consent, or acknowledgment must be obtained separately at checkout. Visiting or playing the game is not a waiver of that right.

Deleting your game account does not automatically cancel your Polar subscription. Cancel renewal before requesting deletion. If the account has already been deleted, use the billing contact or portal linked from your receipt. Deletion requests are reviewed by an operator; the account page shows when a request is pending.

Availability and changes

The game may be interrupted by maintenance, faults, network problems, or events outside our control. A daily challenge affected by a recorded service incident can be marked neutral so it neither adds to nor breaks an existing streak. Not every local connection problem can be identified or corrected as a service incident.

Free features may evolve. Material changes to a paid offer must be explained before you accept that offer or renewal; these terms do not grant an unrestricted right to remove paid-for features without the remedies required by law.

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service or legal requirements. The date above identifies the version. Updates apply prospectively and do not remove rights already acquired. A materially different paid agreement requires any notice and agreement that applicable law requires.

Your legal rights remain yours.

The game is provided for recreation. There is no promise that every session will be uninterrupted or error-free, but nothing in these terms excludes duties of reasonable care, conformity with the purchased description, or other protections that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Nothing here limits liability for fraud, fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be limited. Nor does it prevent you from using consumer-protection procedures, regulators, or courts available to you under applicable law.

If a particular provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law. These terms do not require mandatory arbitration or waive your right to bring a claim where the law allows it.
